Achchhe din aa gaye...

20 year old student enters in one of the most reputed hospitals of Mumbai & asks doctor for abortion. Curious doctor asks her how it happened. The girl replies,

“My boyfriend doesn’t like condoms and I’d unprotected sex with him last time.”

The doctor asks, “Well if he doesn’t like condoms, you can take contraceptive pills.”

Student replies, “I’ve heard that the contraceptive pills increases level of fat in body. So I’m scared whether it affects my figure.”

This was the true incident took place in one of Mumbai based hospital. The girls have been so advanced and this one is an example. Couple of days ago, my morning local friend belongs to the Marathi community went to register a FIR against Panasonic company as his phone had been broken down for very long time. As soon as he reached the Borivali (W) police station, a teenage girl entered the premises. She was crying. It was huge drama created and police were confused too. The girl said,

“My father is a worse man. He locks me in home and he has broken my cell phone into pieces.”

Police asked to explain the matter so he called his father to solve the issue. Her father arrived dramatically in police station and started shouting at her daughter. The police interfered and he explained them,

“This girl keeps talking on phone. I cannot see her like this. She is cheating on me. She is having an affair with someone. I fulfilled every wish she demanded till date. Ever since I bought her a new phone, she has been continuously talking with someone on phone.”

The girl replied, “I am 18 year old now. You do not have any right to interfere in my personal life. I can even run away with my boyfriend. You cannot stop me. I am a matured now.”

Police asked father, “Now what should we do?”

Girl replied, “Arrest my father. He has been harassing me a lot”

Saying this, she starts crying again.
(They belonged to the good family and not from slum area because the conversation between father and daughter were taking place in English language only.)

The last time I came from Valsad to Mumbai in Ranakpur Express, I was accompanied by a little girl who could not even able to stand on her feet. She took help of my shoulder to get up and later started playing. We say that the daughter is the princess of her father. Why she couldn’t be the princess of her mother who has the sleepless nights for her? Do parents brought up their girl to see this day? We always ask society to give independence to girls. Is this the right way they use this independence? Do parents have no feelings for a child who was taken care for 18 years without any excuse; still she crushes the hearts of her parents?
