Ever since I saw Frozen, I’ve been a big fan of Anna, a fearless girl
who loves her sister immensely even though her estranged sister leaves her
alone in their kingdom of Arendelle. When both were kids, Anna was a
mischievous little girl when she was six. She used to play with the magical
snow that is made by the powers of Elsa, her younger sister. Elsa was locked up by the King and
Queen when she accidentally hits her magic to Anna’s head and makes her
injured. Both of them remains lock in the Kingdom and they lost their parents
in an accident. Anna becomes a teenager now and knocks Elsa’s door, asks her to
let her in as now they’re alone and there’s no one to take care of them. They
have to take care of each other.
Morning of Coronation Day of Elsa |
On a coronation day of Elsa, something goes wrong and scared Elsa
leaves Anna. Anna takes the complete responsibility of whatever happens in the
kingdom and hands over the kingdom in the hands of a selfish Prince Hans and
goes out to search Elsa. Anna’s epic journey begins and she starts searching
her sister in jungles. At Wondering Oakan’s Trading Post Anna buys warm clothes
and shoes. There she meets Kristoff, the hero of the movie and an Ice trader by
profession and asks him to take to her destination along with Sven, the
reindeer. The brave Anna faces all the trouble fearlessly. She hits bad wolfs
in the middle of the journey, she crosses huge mountains, faces the dangerous
cold, tries to climb up the huge mountain even if it is impossible to climb on
it, just to meet her sister Elsa. Finally she reaches her destination, Elsa’s
place, a palace made of an Ice. She requests Kristoff, Sven and Olaf a snowman built
by Elsa to stay outside. Anna meets Elsa and requests her to go back to
Arendelle. Elsa rejects and orders her to go back. But determined Anna sings a
song and assures Elsa that everything would be all right if she would go with
her back because Arendelle is in danger and only Elsa could save it now. Elsa hits
Anna in her heart this time and threw all of them from her palace. Anna fights
with big Marshmellow built by Elsa and runs away from her place. Still she
wishes to go back to her sister and bring her back.
Meanwhile Prince Hans finds Elsa and locks her in her own kingdom of
Arendelle. Kristoff returns Anna to the kingdom as her illness can be cured
only with an act of true love. Anna thinks Hans loves her and his kiss would
save her from freezing. But Kristoff
doesn’t kiss and tells Anna about his intentions to rule Arendelle after
killing both sisters. Anna keeps freezing in a locked room but Olaf makes his
way to Anna in time. Olaf lights up fire in room and takes Anna near the warm
place. Olaf explains Anna about true love and tells her that Kristoff loves her
lot but never expressed himself. She realizes that she has done a big mistake
leaving Kristoff alone. But Olaf watches Kristoff making his way back to Arendelle
and they both comes out of the palace. In a hurricane, Olaf couldn’t be with
Anna but tells her to continue walking towards Kristoff because a kiss from
Kristoff would save Anna from freezing.
Princess Anna of Arendelle |
In the end, when Kristoff is almost reaching Anna, Anna turns his head
towards Elsa, saw her falling on ground and crying in pain. She watches Prince
Hans with his sword, who is about to hit Elsa to kill her. Just before he could
hit Elsa, Anna makes her way between them shouting “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo”
and saves her sister in time. The kingdom turns silence as Anna becomes
completely frozen and Elsa is crying hugging her. She keeps crying and suddenly
Anna starts melting. Olaf, who is standing on the other side of Kristoff and
Sven says, “An act of true love melted the frozen heart.”
Anna has been very strong throughout her journey, she trusts her
sister a lot however she has been. Anna is adamant and once she determines to
do something, she does it anyhow. Even after death of parents, Anna looks after
the entire kingdom becoming the Princess in charge. She is ditched by Prince
Hans and still she manages herself to save herself. Even though she could have
saved herself kissing Kristoff in the end but she decides to save Elsa from
Hans and sacrifices her life for her sister. We see a beautifully dressed Anna
in the end when her sister is completely in control with her powers. Both
sisters live happily in the kingdom.
