Is 376 (e) a revolutionary step?

So finally the fastest ever decision taken by Fort session court yesterday when three accused have been given death sentence for raping 22 year old photojournalist in isolated SoBo’s Shakti Mill, first persons to be given penalty under section 376 E. Now the question is that, “Will the 376E change the condition of India? First let’s know what is 376 E?

The newly-introduced section 376 (e) of IPC provides for maximum punishment of death for repeat rapists even there no homicide. This amendment was made in February 2013 after horrible gangrape of a medical student in New Delhi took place in the coldest night of December winters.

The most important thing is that court has not considered the situation of the relatives of accused persons. The defense lawyer came late in court and later he also denied facing public prosecutor Ujjawal Nikam. But above all drama, we must concentrate what the Principal Judge of the session court Shalini Joshi said during hearings. She said,

“They were given an opportunity to reform themselves when they were earlier tried for crimes they committed as juveniles, but they misused it. There is no hope of reformation now.”

“It is the duty of the court to properly sentence the accused who have shown no mercy to women… None of them have any remorse or repentance what they have done.”

“They used the most powerful weapon they have as men. The medical report has shown the extent of the injuries to the victims’ private parts.” (After defensive lawyer told court that accused used no weapons)

“If this is not the case where death sentence prescribed by law invalid, which is?”

Probably Ms Joshi has proven that there should be no political pressure, no bribes, no more harassment for rape victims, and no mercy to the accused as well as for their family. The crystal clear picture of newly amended law in IPC 376 E; they should be hanged till death.

We must hope what session court of Mumbai has done yesterday considering the Shakti Mill gangrapes the rarest of the rare case is appreciative; The Bombay High Court & the Hon. Supreme Court will follow the same so that these sextards stop their activities. We must be happy with this judgment by Ms Joshi but we must not forget, in other state; West Bengal a 30 year old woman immolated herself in Kangaroo court as her in laws raised finger on her character in court premises and asked her to fall on their knees. When she was taken to hospital, she was declared death last day.

I have seen and I saw.

I have seen such things in life and now I am fed up,
And I always feel that now I must give up

I have seen a mother dying falling from local train,
Leaving behind her teenage daughter in pain,

I have seen a girl dying after acid attack,
Who struggled but couldn’t survive from that attack

I have seen a little girl, who was sacked by school at last,
Just because her mother was a bar dancer in the past

I saw an infant, who died from hunger,
As his parents couldn’t manage the business

I have seen a girl raped by own father or brother,
Still she drunk the pain and didn’t complain others

I learned the life of prostitutes,
They’re poor and helpless like mannequins

I have seen a mother and daughter bleeding,
As the safety tank went blasting

I saw a woman, who sacrificed her life for her mother,
Served her entire life and becomes a proud daughter

I saw a maid, who was beaten by her husband,
She cried a lot being separated from her children

I saw a newly married girl, abused by her husband
Lost him the next day in a train accident

I have seen a woman gangraped at an isolated place
But she fought the battle with them and won the case

I have seen another mom who died being crushed by a dumper
And her little girl could do nothing except witnessing her

I have also seen a young girl who hanged herself closing doors
As an anonymous boy harassed her on social networks

I’ve seen an English woman robbed by a thief,
She was slashed with blade & almost killed

I have also seen a mother selling her own daughters virginity
Luckily she was saved by a social worker timely

I have seen a boy getting married to a girl,
On the same day he raped and murdered the girl

I have seen a psycho, who cut her wife in three pieces,
Kept her fridge and became like a small innocent kitties

I have seen and I saw
Neither it is changed nor will stop.

And we proudly celebrated women's day...

The day when probably women were celebrating the women’s Day, a Mumbai woman was lodging complaint against her husband for domestic violence and rape. Vakola police has arrested a man for allowing his friends raping his wife along with victim’s sister who is allegedly involved in crime.

After marriage, the woman came to know that her husband was having an affair with her own sister (who got divorced from her husband after knowing their affair). When she started opposing her husband about the affair, the husband started beating her often. Her husband along with her sister would perform sex in front of her and force her to see them having sex. Moreover, several times she was forced to join them in their sexual activities to perform threesome. She was kept locked in her own home almost for two years. But cruelty never ended for the woman. Drinking the bitter truth of her husband’s affair with her own sister, her husband started allowing his neighbor to visit their home often and asked them to have sex with his wife. She was several times raped or gangraped by them one by one. Three men whom she could never identify, would come to her whenever they wished and had sex with her. They would pay good sum to her husband allowing having sex with her.

In the last two years, she often tried to escape from this jungle but her husband had asked all three men to keep watch on her under his absence. So whenever she tried to escape, she was brutally beaten by all of them. Now she lost patience and filed complaint against her husband. Mumbai cops have finally arrested her husband, sister and all man with such charges and took them into the custody. She told police that she did not even know the name of the accused who raped her many times. Moreover, when her relative would visit home, her husband would act normally as nothing was happened in front of her.

This shameful incident has again brought light on the violence taking place over women in society when the most educated human beings are turning into a wild animals. In such case, even wild animals too have humanity who kills other for the sake of their empty stomach. But people like these, don’t even deserve to be called “wild animals”, do they?

Let it go!

Have you yet not seen the most beautiful ever Disney’s animated movie Frozen? If you have not, you have missed many things. Performance of both Anna and Elsa is tremendous and the story will definitely touch your heart.

Anna and Elsa are sisters living in Arendelle, a small Iceland where they’re born and brought up. Anna is a normal girl while her sister is cursed with extraordinary power. She can bring the winter whenever she wants. But the more she is feared, the more she loses control over her powers and creates trouble for other. In their childhood while playing, Elsa once accidently hurts her sister Anna and so her father locks her in a room where no one can meet her. She remains hidden in the palace. Meanwhile the king and the queen lose their life an accident when their ship sinks in a sea storm. Later, on a coronation day of Elsa, Anna meets Prince Hans and asks Elsa to allow their marriage. But Elsa refuses and Anna makes her to use her power. Seeing Elsa’s dangerous side, the people of Arendelle scare and so the invitees, Elsa ran away from Arendelle in fear and built her own palace of ice somewhere in North.

A coronation day of Elsa, in the right, Princess Anna

Anna goes to find her sister where he meets Kristoff, an ice trader. They both hunt for Elsa and they reach the north. Near her palace of Ice, Anna meets Olaf, a snowman who is built by Elsa. Seeing him, Anna becomes sure that Elsa is there because when they were kids, Elsa used to build a snowman like Olaf. Anna meets her sister in palace but refuses to go Arendelle. Instead of agreeing Anna, Elsa hurts in Anna’s heart. Anna hair turns white which Kristoff recognizes and takes her to the place where she was survived when she was kid when Elsa hurt her in head. But they could not help her because this time she was hurt on her hear and they say that she can be saved by “act of true love” only. If she is not saved on time, she will be completely frozen. Anna believes a kiss from Hans will save her. So Kristoff returns her in kingdom where Hans refuses to kiss and expresses his intentions to conquer Arendelle and plan to kill both sisters and rule the kingdom. He locks her in a room and went to kill Elsa who he brought from her palace of ice and made her imprisoned.

Elsa runs away from the prison to save Arendelle, and Anna who is freezing, is saved by snowman Olaf. But Anna, Elsa’s sister who has started freezing, sacrifices herself before Prince Hans tries to kill Elsa with a sword. Anna comes between them and sword gets broken touching the frozen palm of Anna… Elsa realizes how Anna loved her a lot and sacrificed her life to save her from Hans. Thus Anna not only saves her sister Elsa but also saves entire Arendelle from greedy Prince Hans. Thus the movie is awesome who won the best movie award in Oscars and one of its song too won the oscars award for the best original song that is Let it go by Idina Menzel. There are many emotional scenes in the movie that will definitely touch your heart. Especially the last one when Anna is completely frozen.

I really like these animated movies because they have no sex, no violence and no nudity. I love the characters of these movies. Especially Rapunzel, I always wish a girl like Rapunzel will come in my life and magically turn my life. I dream of her every single night. Even my alarm clock beats “7 am the usual morning line up….” Sung by Mandy Moore for voice of Rapunzel!
