Hope, Pray, Faith (Poem dedicated to Nirbhaya)

“I closed my eyes and found myself in heavens,
Away from a cruel world, now I am falling here

This is safer and more secured,
I’ve been an angel and staying near the lord

Now I am the part of his family,
Where no one is jealous of my beauty

I am free and I am careless,
This place is full of kindness

I can run here and there,
I sing a song that makes me brave

My tears have been wiped up,
I am once again growing up

Oh there is no one here to stop
There is no one here to be the boss

I am more independent,
And I am no more dependent

Now look at me I am smiling anyway,
‘Cause you people pray for me everyday

But there is something that pains in my heart,
As my poor parents have forgot to laugh

I promised them to come back very soon,
But I succumbed to my wounds

The scars I got, I never forget,
The ‘promise’ I made them, I’ll always regret

Nothing is changed even with the revolution,
My sisters are dying and being a ‘thing’ of ‘celebration’

How many brave ‘Nirbhayas’ in this country will be lost?
Who will melt the people’s hearts those are under deep frost?"

Two years of brutality.... 16th Dec 2014.

16th December, a horrible night that only heartless people can forget. The day when a beloved daughter of this country was brutally gang raped but the situation never changed in the country. From Nirbhaya gang rape to Uber Cab rape, the incidents are unstoppable and no one is able to control the situation. As the last day, Mumbai Mirror reported about a 5 year old girl who was sexually molested by her classmate. I wonder how 5 year old kid knows about molesting! The social media, WhatsApp, movies have changed the atmosphere in the country. The broad minded people protest when they are asked about the same but some parts of the society have still not accepted them. Just like one of the villages in Maharashtra that banned women wearing gowns because the locals feel very uncomfortable when they see them in such condition. Last year, mannequins were banned in the city as they looked too provocative.

Kolkata teen gangraped twice
But all things stop at a single stop. Rape. Stalking is very common things between the people. I have seen all kinds of people who never miss the chance to stare women. From a teenage to an elder one, all men I believe have been the same in recent times. I even see very old men watching porn contents in front of all people in locals. They do not feel shy, they do not feel uncomfortable and they say that they are not doing anything wrong. One of the recent incident happened in local was really strange. A young boy was watching porn content on his mobile phone in Virar bound train from Churchgate. There was a woman sitting in front of him. He didn’t even care about her and kept watching the porn content, probably sent on his WhatsApp application. Very soon, the commuters protesting that guy in compartment and asked him to stop watching the porn as there was a woman. He even protested the commuters saying that there is a facility for women to board in their own compartment then why did she came here? He was a Marathi and so he was spared. I believe if he had been a Gujarati or a North Indian, he would have been beaten very brutally. This was strangest thing!

There are many things those are increasing the obsession amongst the people. Just like few days ago I received a media of Borivli station where a woman was continuously smooching her lover sitting on a bench. Well, you’re in love and you’re expressing it on a platform like Borivli, it is gonna be a big news. Several commuters were stopping there just to watch them including the kids were continuously staring that couple. I am not against them, I am not against women but I am against the situation. The situation has been worst in present times. Awareness is very important because laws are never changing and so the incidents like Nirbhaya are not stopping…

Identifying the correct person

Identifying the correct person is the toughest thing in the current times. Staying Strong 365 a day is quite amazing book by Demi. As I said last day that she has learnt so many things in very small age. One of the most important things she tells about a person to be identified correctly. We live in quite a big city and so we meet different people every day. Some of them become close to us. We make them friends considering them good human beings.

But how can we judge a person by his outer look? A person whom we trust seeing his one side, can be the most dangerous at the other side. For example, I am against the domestic violence and I hate those who do such kind of things. I meet someone in a local, office or anywhere else and he looks very good at first sight. Mumbai is the place where people never ask about personal lives because Mumbaikars are already busy in their own lives. But people come too close even without knowing more about themselves. Who knows the man I know who looks quite gentle but, may be at home he is abusing his wife and children. In a recent past, I have been reading many cases of rape filed by victims. In all those cases, victims have met the accused by social network or mutual friends. They got in a relationship and had sexual intercourse after men promised them of marriage. Sooner or later they got suspicious about them and found the accused were already married and having children. This is case of cheating and I believe there shouldn’t be a case of rape.

I do not support anyone here, including those victim women because they were short of basic awareness which a common woman must have. Being a well educated woman, she shouldn’t have involved in such activity (that accepts pre marital sex but later files a rape case against accused). Obviously Taali kabhi ek haath se bajti hi nahi. The reason why I have even decreased my friend list because I believe, some people will definitely dump me. Who knows? The thing is not only about women but also for men. It has been too easy for someone to trap a person by ‘sweet talks’ and social networks playing vital roles in such cases or if I am not wrong, I can say it is acting like Ghee in fire.

Instead of trusting anyone blindly, firstly be completely informed about the person for whom you’re getting too serious. By Staying Strong, this is the biggest and the most important thing I have learned.

Let the love birds live.

ViKo seems very busy with bollywood babe Anushka Sharma, and so the media personals too very busy to explore their relationship. I am feeling too good for ViKo who bravely answered one of them yesterday on being asked about his relationship with Anushka. No wonder Virat is brave enough in stadium. But I have found him too brave on public stage too.

We are independent enough to have relationship with the one whom we love a lot. And I know that we cannot make it private. Someday it has to be revealed. But in case of ViKo and Anushka, people are even more interested than Ranveer-Deepika and Ranbir-Katerina. This is unnecessary act of harassment for two people who are in love. Facebook, Twitter, News paper, media… everyone is fallowing them. Anusha & Virat spotted in NZ, Anushka & Virat found on Mumbai Airport, Anusha spotted in stadium, Kohli gave a flying kiss to Anushka etc. But what is wrong in that? If they are in love, they must carry on. Why should others take interest in them and west unnecessary time? There are so many things to show. Why shouldn’t they leave them alone and concentrate other things which are more important than a relationship between 2 different stars? I have been fan of both, especially Anushka Sharma who has been too impressive in Band Baja Baraat. About Virat, I knew him about the way how he made his place right in team India, was quite impressive. At the time of selection, he was about to come on bat at his home ground. Suddenly he got a call about her father who passed away after a major heart attack. ViKo could have quit the game but he was firm and went to bat without saying anything to the team mates or coach. When he returned after hitting tremendous knock, he told other about the demise of his father and ran for home. He was selected in the next tour of India.

Sachin inspired him and he even told in the past that Sachin has done so much for our country and now it is time for him to take the further responsibility. And I am sure he will be able to perform consistently. Let’s both of them give some privacy. Let’s not make their love weak by embarrassing them. Instead of making it weak, try to make it stronger because love can be the best strength in life that can make a man to achieve anything he wants.

Stay Strong

I learned my cousin brother got a heart attack in recent past, 13 year old girl in Thane passed away immediately when she was in school couple of days ago. She got severe heart pain. What have been the factors behind these? People losing lives when they are too young, not even have seen the world, learned a lot. I see how kid’s behavior is becoming completely different. Since the day when it starts to eat leaving breast milk (many women not feed their infants to maintain their figures), parents offer them junk foods. Oily wafers, cheese, butter etc. If a child is a Gujarati, it will be daily offered, Khaman, Dhokla, Fafda & Jalebi. If child is Mumbai residing, Vadapav will be compulsory for it.

Why our grandparents are still living healthy lives? Because they have eaten good food. There were no Mc Ds, Dominos, and Pizza Hut. We always make complaints about our fast life that makes us unable to eat food on time or force us whatever we get, we have to eat. But this is not the way to be such careless towards life. Reading Demi Lovato, I have learned many good things. I learned about her personal life when she was bullied by all. She was drug addicted and ended up being an alcoholic. She was suffering from ‘bulimia’. Bulimia is the disease where a person keeps eating all day to look beautiful or perfect. But then she was able to bring back her life on track going into the rehab center and later wrote a book “Staying Strong 365 a day” in which she revealed truths of her life. Every teenage must keep this book to achieve goals in his life. This is a beautiful gift to present to your beloved.

She talks about life. Life is a gift. And so she realizes the value of her life. She was left with a broken heart, she was drug addicted, alcoholic and she was about to lost herself somewhere. But she is a skyscraper. She has got millions of followers in the entire world including me. She tells about our body should be kept healthy.  So take care of it so that it can take care of you. From exercise to eating balanced diet, a body should be maintained well in all the ways. Peace of mind, controlling life, controlling emotions, balanced diet plays good role. Stay strong.
