Dreams come true many time. In few cases, they're left with worse nightmares. This is what happened to 16 year old Mumbai residing girl Monica More, when she was returning home from college. She tried to catch crowded local in Ghatkopar but somehow she missed the step. She fell from the local and directly went into the gap between platform and train. In the horrible accident, the girl lost both her arms and fainted on the site. There was no ambulance, no doctor but one policeman who only desired to see the show instead of help. From the crowd, two young brothers came forward and picked up the girl. One of them borrowed cloth from fellow commuter and took her hand wrapping in it, while other hand was tied with handkerchief. Both took her in an auto but it was too late. The doctor failed to reattach her limbs as it was too late.

            She was moved to KEM Hospital where doctors feared about the infection. She had lost both her arms from shoulder and she had also lost courage to live. Monica was a bright student who was aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant. It was her only dream for which she was preparing for. Therefore Monica was in a big shock after the accident. Apart from a student, Monica had tremendous ability of doing beautiful Mehendi, too. Reading the incidents in news papers, several people came forward for moral support to her who had lost their limbs in same accidents.

As the girl was poor, she was not even able to bear the medical expenses. But the cities huge hearts came forward to help her including some trust like Sidhdhivinayak. Dr Shubhangi Parkar, the dean of the KEM Hospital declared that the artificial limbs of the girl would cost 10 to 50 Lakhs rupees. On the second day at KEM Hospital, many people arrived there and help Monica financially. Her father broke down on the same day when a little boy gave him 100 Rs. He thanked all the people who prayed for her daughter and helped him financial.

           

Monica meets bothers

On 4rth day at hospital, she got back some courage and desired to live life. She was looking very happy. She took IDLIS in breakfast and walked first time after the accident. She thought that something was missing but she accepted the truth that from now, she would have to live life with it. The next day, she met those brothers who saved her life. She cried seeing them and thanked them. She called them her brothers after the accident and her mother told them that they were the Angels sent by God who saved life of her daughter. I am happy that Monica has now gathered enough courage to live life again. But she has brought a revolution in the railways. Now a big question over the railways about the safety of the people has been raised. Even after Monica’s accident, several people have fallen between the gap of platform and train, few have also lost life but how long it will keep happening. The numbers of commuters are increasing in the city everyday but the medium of commuting is preferred only locals which save both time and money. In the pick hours a local carries 5,500 people, while it is made to carry only 2,000 people. Now you can imagine how people are commuting everyday and losing life. Monica is not the only girl who has suffered from such accident but there are many who have gone through such horrible accident. Life of Mumbai if full of struggle and the one who can only win who wins all the battles and jumps on the stairs of success. Shweta, from Kamathipura goes to US for studies and Monica gains power to live life again. She is always in my prayers. I hope she’ll succeed in life after such horrible accident.

                Many things died with Sunanda Pushkar whether she lost her life after the controversy of Twitter war? Nobody can answer it and we will never be able to know the truth. Or maybe even Shashi would ever be able to know! People would deny that the social network could be the reason behind her death because if it is, then govt. has to take further steps to control these social networks.  And the big question is raised against these social networks whether they all are safe or not. Well few incidents would definitely take you closer to the question.

                The girls for whom we say that we should respect a lot, she openly talks about sex on a social network site and tells one of her male follower, “Please be my sex teacher from today!” The thing is that one can even be disguised on social networks and act like a stranger. No one could ever identify those people. One other boy I saw in Mumbai local when I was coming Bhayandar from Virar. I got into Andheri bound train and he sat beside me. He was chatting on WhatsApp with his girlfriend. His girlfriend, on other side was stripping and capturing picture of her. She was forwarding her nude pictures one by one on WhatsApp and he was downloading them even being aware of the thing that everyone around him was watching those pictures. Not only that but also that boy was forwarding those pictures to his other friends and group on WhatsApp. Well I find no fault of that boy when his girlfriend was so cheap. Few days ago, 14 year old Kandivali girl committed suicide after getting frequent dirty messages on her Facebook ID. That girl was tired getting messages and approached police but they didn’t help her. In depression, girl committed suicide. In the same incident an unemployed UP boy made fake profile on FB. He befriended a teenage girl and made her fall in love. The both met many times and the boy then asked her for some money. He told girl that he had bought 5 crore property in Worli but he was short of some money. The girl stole 16 Lakhs Jewelry from her home and gave to him. Receiving the jewelries, the boy flew away.

   The most advanced way of committing crime using these social networks has just came in light when a boy murdered a girl in Mira Road. The boy befriended a girl and like others, he too made her fall in love with him. He approached her with his sexual desire but girl didn’t agree. Then he promised to marry her. He met the girl with a Mangalsutra and they got married simply. On the day of marriage, he raped the girl and slit her throat in bathroom. I have got her shocking pictures but I am not sharing here. These are only few cases which reflect the light on crimes over the social networks but we cannot deny their effects on our lives. I am not blaming them as I have got such a nice human being as my friend Mrs. Muskaan and another wonderful friend lives in Bihar. For me, they have always been useful instead of creating a trouble for me. But the thing is that the more we’ll be aware of the things about social networks, the more we’ll be awakened and take care of any activity which will be taking place inappropriately. These social networks are very useful nowadays but we must keep a restriction line to use them as they have taken many more lives in India, they have broken many marriages, many relationships and even many homes. The example is Marathi actress Alka Punawala. Be careful talking to the stranger and have fun with friends, relatives, with your bfs and gfs whom you trust a lot and who will never ever cheat. If they’re gonna cheat, there’s no wonder you’re being used. And you only better know for which cause. We have created technologies. So don’t be bound with such stupid thing that makes you finish your life. Enjoy them but never make a reason to end a life because of them.

The city sees another brutality...

            I thought 16 year old girl who lost her both hands falling from local could be the most shocking incident. Monday must be start in a good way but it is always good until I buy news paper to read in local. No wonder the recent brutality which people of Mumbai have seen is the most dangerous ever. No one can ever imagine this could ever happen.

            This is the story of 11 year old girl who was bought from UP by Mira Road couple. They paid her mom 15000 and told she would be put in an International school in Mumbai for study. But her life became a nightmare when she came Mumbai. Her work was to look after the couple's 18 months old daughter. It was not enough as the couple started mistreating her. Beside taking care of the daughter, she suffered through immense pain over a year. The couple beat her and she could not say anything to anyone until the society noticed and she was survived by NGO. The truth was revealed and it seemed a heinous crime. It was revealed that the couple beat her often making the TV volume full in house so that no one could listen her screams. She was stripped naked and tied on a chair. Then couple started hitting her in a stomach until she urinates under fear. Then the couple brought chilly and make it dirty on the floor in her urine, then insert that chilly into her private parts. The TV volume was kept full and they make the girl that dirty chilly eat. She screamed in pain but no one could listen it. She was given food only one time in a day and she had to take out child in garden. She had to sleep in the kitchens floor without anything, even in the coldest days. When she demanded something, she was beaten in the same way. She bear the pain for over a year and now in safest hands of NGO. But this 11 year old girl has revealed the truth of one of the second most honest cities of the world. This girl was lucky who survived but there will be so many in the metropolitan cities of India who would be praying for their independence. As I told you before, few children are lucky, many are miserable...

Who sent Shama & little Nandini into the gorge of death?

                On 27^th December 2013, a woman in Goregaon died near public toilet when a blast occurred in the septic tank of public toilet where she was standing in a queue. You must have remembered when I told about a mom and her little daughter who got injured in same incident happened in Chembur area. They are still being treated in Sion hospital. 35 year old Shama went to public toilet in Bharat Nagar with her 4 year old daughter Nandini. They were both standing in a queue as there was heavy rush and waiting for their turn. Suddenly the septic tank where they were standing blasted due to the gas that injured both mother and baby. Shama got 70% burns that went critical in Sion Hospital while Nandini got 45% burns, also declared critical by doctors. Both were left unattended in hospital for 4 hours after they were taken there because police didn’t reach there on time. They started their treatment after police arrived. Her husband who was in US flew to India after listening horrible news about family. The organizer of toilets was immediately arrested and further inquiry was started.

                The inquiry was completed couple of days ago which revealed the shocking truth. The pipelines of toilets were blocked by sanitary napkins and there was no space left where water could even pass through. Due to the chock up, gas started being produced and finally made a blast in tank. This was strange as the entire women living in the area had disposed the sanitary napkins in toilet after use which caused two women injured seriously. BMC often uses the tagline about mosquitoes “Boondo boondo se jaise sagar bane, sagar main vaise hi machchhar pale”. No wonder each woman had thought. “Let me dispose. Who would ever know?” They did and finally left two lives hung between the game life and death. Now there is a big question over the corporation to make the possible ways to make women living in slum areas destroy their used sanitary napkins. We can say if Chembur blast happened due to the reason of choking up line may be behind the Goregaon blast, there would be same reason too. We can only assume that most of women must be doing in the same way that may create trouble in near future. Moreover, the corporation is also supplying free sanitary pads to the girls studying in their school up to 12^th Standard by 23^rd January 2014. Reading the headlines, I thought it was a good idea to make girls more hygiene but the second day, shocking reasons came forward behind septic tank blast. Whom can we blame? An organizer who is in jail? All women who disposed pads? Or a corporation who built it?

                In daily life, human forgets the little things or duties. Here the same thing happened. I believe no one should be blamed or arrested because it happened due to a joint negligence. We can only pray for both mother and daughter who are surviving in Sion hospital in critical condition and expect such incidents won’t take place…

It happens in the most forwarded country where girls slut walk!

                Couple of strange incidents strike early morning let us know the fact in which condition we are living in India currently. The human minds have been destroyed. Either he is a child or elder. Nobody can trust anyone nowadays. The first incident took place in Thane when a Marathi actress Alka Punawala, 48 went missing on 27^th December 2013 found in Chennai with her boyfriend (who was merely 24 years old). The actress has a daughter ages 25 by her first husband and other 15 year old twins, boy and girl by her second husband. She came in contact with the boy by social network who was studying in Bangalore and their affair started. After completing the studies, boy often visited Mumbai & Pune to meet her. Alka went to meet him in hotels informing her relatives that she was going to Thailand for shows. The boy then shifted to Chennai for job. As he could not come to Mumbai, she started visiting southern cities to spent time with him speaking lie to her husband and children. Since 27^th December, both were living in Chennai based Hotel. The incident came in light when she went to the Chennai commissioner of Police’s office and told him that she did not want to have any relationship with her husband. The woman police took both in custody and informed Mumbai cops. Alka planned so well. She told her husband that she was going for a show. Her husband left her on Thane platform where she caught local and went CST where her boyfriend was waiting. From online shop, they had bought a car in 28,000 by which they headed towards Chennai. But in the Ghats, friend of her boyfriend pushed the car in gorge and disguised people by a case of kidnapping Alka! This is so strange! I just watched Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai in which Akshaye Khanna fell in love with a woman who is elder than him! I thought it happened in movies only. Even Alka’s daughter is one year elder than her boyfriend. Apart from this case, the 55 year old woman, a rag picker who was gangraped and killed on 31^st Dec in Ghatkoper, all the rapists were 21 year old! One out of them was already in relationship with her and having physical relationship for long time!

                The second incident is even shameful for city which happened in Govandi last day. A six months (not year) old baby girl was raped by a juvenile. And learn about the age of that boy. He was just 12 year old! Oh God! At the age of 12, I did not even know what sex was! We always believe at these age, we consider them as innocent kids but now they are even turning into the devils. It happened when 7 years old little girl took her six month old sister to neighbor’s home and she went out to play. The boy was alone in home and he was a drug addict. When sister came back and saw the baby, she was bleeding on face. The hospital authorities thought she was injured but her check up showed the difference. When doctors checked her private parts were bleeding, they were shocked and confirmed she was raped. The police immediately took juvenile in to custody where lots of drama created by angry mob. Meanwhile the baby is being treated in Ghatkopar Hospital.

                I have no words to express myself about what is happening to India. If a 12 year old becomes an accused of rape with 6 months old girl, then I can only say that human minds have destroyed. I belonged to the most disgusting places in the entire universe. Not police is responsible, no politician is responsible but only the society is responsible. Be strict, hang him, no matter he’s 12 year old. He’s a big threat in future. Letting him go means equal to making him a professional rapist. Why I am so worried when nothing is gonna changed! WTF!
