True Love & friendship lasts longer... even after death.

Pragjee Thakkar (78), Bhayandar residing senior citizen died on Monday after he fell from his bed in the morning. When his best friend Sevantilal Shah(82) got news about his friend’s death around 3 pm, he rushed to see his body. His heart was broken in grief of losing his close friend. He returned his home and asked son to bring a glass of water. By the time son returned to Sevantilal, he too died in shock. Both were known to be very close friend for many years. Their body was taken to civic crematorium where they kept side by side as last rituals performed by society members. You must have remembered about Pallavi, a lawyer & daughter of an IAS officer working with Excel Entertainment (Farhan Akhtar’s Production unit), who was killed by her own building watchman while protesting him for raping. Watchman failed to rape her and he stabbed her several time & she succumbed to her injuries.

You might know about Avik Sen Gupta. He was a live in partner of Pallavi. After one year of Pallavi’s death, Avik Sen Gupta also died. He too suffered from a broken heart. He was unable to manage himself after the death of his girlfriend. His family tried every possible thing to overcome the grief of Pallavi’s death but he didn’t respond to his treatment.

Every day I think about true love, true friendships have died but these two cases will keep my eyes opened. How a lover died after his girlfriend passed away… how a friend died after his close friend passed away. These two incidents will become reminiscent forever in my head. I respect and pray for both souls who passed away last day in Bhayandar & Pallavi’s murder was even more unfortunate. She could have been saved if residents had helped her. No one came forward to help when she was screaming. She kept on asking for help but she was finally murdered by a pervert.

I am not amongst them. A message to all women who think negative for all men.

Enough is enough! Now I think women have to change their minds about men. I have been following many activities on social networks and blogging sites where women are vomiting poison against men. This is a similar act, like a person from a minority community is considered a terrorist. Not every man you see is a stalker or rapist. Women will have to think and speak wisely. I have also been following the reports in Mumbai Mirror. In most of the cases of gang rapes, rapes, molestation or acid attacks, there are people close to victim women, are involved. Like an example if you take case of Priti Rathi (I have written couple of blogs for this girl) who died in an acid attack at Bandra Terminus, GRP police tried too hard to nab the attacker but they couldn’t get him. Finally, after a long wait, they nabbed the man from New Delhi. He was her neighbor who killed Priti to take revenge for getting a better job & for disapproving his marriage proposal.

Even I am following the cases of Delhi gang rapes. Especially in Delhi, it has been a fashion to rape women in a moving car. Leaving the case of Nirbhaya, I have also found many women who became victims; accused knew them very well. People also objected NIrbhaya for roaming late night in streets of Delhi. What was she doing? With whom did she go? Arre…. She has right to roam anytime, anywhere in this country. This is why we celebrate an independence day. And if she cannot go outside home, we have no right to celebrate 15th August. I have been following cases of little girls being the victim of rape. In many of these cases, either their relatives or neighbors are involved. I am sure that these things are never going to stop ever until strict law is not formed for molestation, acid attacks, rapes & gang rapes. People will keep gathering after an incident, they will light some candles, they will protest against the government and they will go and sleep at their homes. No one is either interested in the pain of victim or her family members. When the next day they will find similar incident in news paper or news channel, they will definitely say, “Arre yaar. Ab yeh to roj ka natak hai…” & they’ll either change channel or turn a page. What happened to the parents of Nirbhaya? With last update I have on her second death anniversary, I have known that they are still waiting for the justice. Ok… Waiting for justice in India is even bigger crime than to commit a crime. Am I right? I am…

Several videos going viral on the internet and WhatsApp how women trying to aware men, how the way men see them, how to protect them, how men think about women to sleep with them blah blah… But I don’tnow why they are clarifying such things publically? I mean take the period of 80 & 90’s. Were you not living so independently? There were less numbers of rapes, molestations and gang rapes. But nobody had to come in public and explain that men shouldn’t do it. But why are you coming today on stage? And by setting up an example of a rape victim, revealing her name on stage, you are not only insulting the victim but also entire female society. As a man I believe it’s my prior duty is to protect women. It doesn’t mean I keep on staring women everywhere. No one wants to be the hero nowadays but when there is a need to be a hero, there should be a real hero in every one. Those men who have always stood with women will never need any explanation from them. Because they know the value of a woman, they must have good family; they belong to a good society. Are women not responsible for such situation in our country? I strongly agree. When Vrushali Joshi, a woman public prosecutor sentenced five men for raping a photojournalist in Shakti Mill gang rape Mumbai, told the mothers of the accused about their son’s cruelty. If the son is absconding till late night, it is the duty of parents to ask him. But they don’t. If a son is raping a woman, parents would come first to save him. If a son is stalking, molesting and behaving inappropriately with society’s women, instead of opposing him, parents would often support him. And here how they are encouraged. Here how they’re inspired and here how they start committing crime and here is how a rapist is born. Small steps which are ignored leads to commit a huge crime ladder. I am not against women or against their clothes or against their using of mobile but I am against their views which have to be changed. We are ‘men’ and we are not ‘rapists’. I am also a Delhite and I have also been rejected by a multinational company in Gujarat in an interview. They had a problem with me for being a Delhite. They clearly mentioned that they had too many female staff and appointing me in their company, there would be a major threat to their female staff. “Delhi have ‘rapists’”.

But I am not a rapist...

“Bloody Democracy”

Who says that? I mean what Delhi has witnessed on 10th February, is the answer of this ‘Democracy’ who can change the ‘wave’ anytime in this country. Yes, AAP, Aam Aadmi Party, the muffler man won elections with record 67 seats in New Delhi Elections, has created a history. This is not only just a victory of Arvind Kejriwal but it is also the victory of the people of Delhi who want their state clean. No dirty politics, no corruption & less crime. The dream of people starts now & duties of to be CM Arvind Kejriwal is about to begin from this Valentine’s Day. The sworn in ceremony of AK will be held on 14th Feb 2014. Finally, Delhi state is getting the leader who truly loves the state on this Valentine. And what can be the better Valentine’s gift than him?

Well apart from this victory, we must learn something from loser’s side. Forget Congress because it was already predicted that it would not even get sufficient seats. But BJP & team Namo lost the election. What went wrong? Why people neglected the Prime Minister’s party? Why they even lost the most important seat of Kiran Bedi which they had never lost in many years? The things are too clear. People of Delhi have shown how wise they are. We have seen after 9 months ruling the centre, Narendra Modi has failed to fulfill many promises which he did during his campaign before Lok Sabha elections. He made fun of common people by using different strategies, like…

Bahot huyi mahebgai ki maar, abki baar Modi Sarkar,

Bahot hua nari par vaar, abki baar Modi Sarkar,

Bahot hua bhrashtachar, abki baar Modi Sarkar,

How many promises did he fulfill after coming into the govt.?  One of his cabinet ministers Nihal Chand is facing serious rape charges, he has appointed an illiterate Education minister, more than 146 jawans have lost lives protecting Pakistan borders ever since he is ruling centre govt., Ganges is not cleaned and Modi Govt. slammed by honorable Supreme Court Of India, he promised to pay 10 to 15 lakhs to each member of family by bringing back the black money and now party prez Amit Shah cleared that it was just a “Chunavi Jumla” (Election Strategy), more than 4,600 farmers have committed suicide in 100 days under his governance. He launched the “Make in India” project and wore suit worth one million rupees during the Republic Day when Barack Obama visited India. That suit was not even made in India. Average 1 case of gang rape or rape is recorded in the capital after his government has been ruling. He has been silent on many issues ever since he has become the Prime Minister of India. Instead of those issues, unnecessary things are discussed in his “Mann ki Baat” events. His so called “Swachch Bharat Abhiyan” has become just a joke when all stars and famous celebrities are taking selfies with the brooms and posting on social networks to get attention. 10 Rupaye ki “Meri Maggie” ab 12 rupaye ki ho gayee!!! Can you imagine? I have been buying this Maggie in just 10 Rs ever since it was introduced. Not only this but also the things around me have got price hiked. From my commuting pass to the food I eat, everything has gone costlier.

Kejriwal, introducing his wife after victory.
And so, here comes the victory of AAP, jo hai sabka B(AAP)! Both Amit Shah and Namo were so confidence that they believed Delhi was their own state where they could never ever lose. When Kiran Bedi appointed, Subramanian Swami tweeted “Welcome the next CM of Delhi, @TheKiranBedi”. Now what happened? People of Delhi have decided their CM. BJP spent around 700 crores in advertisements while AAP just took maximum help of social networks with young IIT-B students. While Modi was posting full first page advertisement in leading newspapers, AAP didn’t even post a single ad in any news paper. Here is the reason why BJP has been able to conquer only 3 seats out of 70. They could not be able to win trust of the people of Delhi. They were slapped tightly and I am sure this wound will take so much time to heal until all the ‘fake’ promises will be start fulfilling by PM & Amit Shah. For Amit Shah, this election will be reverberated for many years as on 10th February 2015, his son got married and one of the most famous bands of Ahmadabad was ordered not to play music in wedding ceremony as BJP lost Delhi elections. He didn’t even step out of his car.

Well as I told before that I never celebrated 14th February ever in my life but this time, I am going to celebrate it. Yes, with ‘to be’ CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal. He is not just AK-47, he is now AK-67 who is going rule independently. 14th Feb is not a Valentine’s Day for me but it is more like a ‘Dussera’ as this is a victory of ‘good’ over ‘bad’, ‘truth’ over ‘fake’, and ‘honesty’ over ‘greed’ & ‘arrogance’. The moral of the story is that you cannot make people fool for long time; you don’t have to be arrogant when you are sitting on top positions, you don’t have to be overconfident about what you are doing because one day, honesty, simplicity and truth will win, just like that…. AAP won.
